UPDATE: Spurs v. Rockets (video highlights)

Hey everyone…this is a super quick post. I just wanted to add some video highlights that I found today.

Oh and thanks to mber for this pic. For all the haters…you see this face?! This is the I got swag…don’t mess with me…I can ball hard look. Yea just in case you forgot…

Does this face remind you of his other faces….

Los Angeles Lakers at New York Knicks arms12 Linsanity-Knicks-star-Jeremy-Lin2That’s the “Linsanity” look that he ALWAYS has!!! It has just been hiding recently!!

MORE VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: (some of these highlights do overlap each other)

After seeing this…and seeing how painful that looked when he twisted his ankle…the fact that he shook it off like it was nothing….yea that is a hard baller right there!!

This is just sexiness right here!! *whew* if only I could have helped him celebrate making those 3s!!

Parker is good…no denying that…

Love these Lin highlights!!

Look at the way he walks after making that basket!! Just full of swag!

Ok if you can still make the ball go in while you are falling down…that’s talent!

I don’t know if they ever figured out what happened to Parson’s pinky but that is so crazy how he couldn’t control the shaking. I can’t imagine how banged up and bruised they are after each game!

POSTGAME INTERVIEWS:

The camera person didn’t really focus the camera good or something because the footage looks weird, but I hate how Jeremy sounds really sad still in this video. Keep your head up Jeremy!! You still played very well!!

Same interview…different angle.

*whew* that’s a lot of videos!! That should be plenty to keep you distracted at work or from falling asleep. And on that note…I will leave you with this last video. THIS VIDEO IS A MUCH WATCH!! Thanks to fauxy for introducing it to me, so that I could share it with everyone else. Bless the Lin Lady who made this video!! She read all of our minds!!

And with that, I leave you with more smiles, as I head off into dream land. Goodnight from NC!!

oh shucks, I stupidly volunteer to work last night and completely miss the game although I would check the scores here and there while working. BUTTT 2 hrs later I checked and saw that Lin had the most points, 38!!!!, for the Rox, I literally wanted to jump and scream right there at work, but gosh i had to control myself until I get home, 2 hours later!!! I’m just so happy for him, hopefully this one, eased all of us LinLadies and shut up the doubters and haters for a moment. Linsanity was no fluke, and last night did prove that. And and I’ve noticed, Lin has been building up, hopefully it will only get better from here on. His stats are better, his shooting is better, I think last Friday? against the Mavs, I believe he was shooting at 50% from all of his shots? I can’t remember but his shots are looking better, but it’s always overlooked. His shooting looks a lot better. I honestly think Lin can do really well w/out a superstar, he’s not a ball hog! I want to spazz so much more, but i forgot most of my thoughts already! lol, had a hard test today, my brain’s fried, haha, I’m just so happy for Lin, I’m glad i was patient although a little impatient but I’m glad I never gave up on him, I knew it was coming. And and I like that “Linsanity” caught a lot of people off guard that night! Even McHale didn’t expect it. Did y’all see some of those tweets? I thought they were cute! lol it reminded me of the good ‘ole days! lol my brains fried. Omg i almost forgot, Lin sprained his ankle at practice today, someone tell me it’s not serious enough for him to be out?! but i would want to him to play healthy not hurt :)

    • ksoranna says:

@maxymacy…LOL you sound like me!! I was spazzing out while sneaking glances at my phone to see the score and by the time I did my post I forgot half of what I wanted to say haha!! And I missed the game too and I’m upset because there is something about seeing it live and I can’t find the full game anywhere. Sometimes it’s posted on youtube and I was hoping this one would be bc he did so well…so like you, i’m replaying the highlights to feel in the spirits. And yes the tweets were soo cute!! I am glad everyone was just happy for him and didn’t care that they lost! He needed this morale boost!!

And he sprained his OTHER ankle?? Didn’t he sprain his right ankle at the game last night?? I want to see him play…but not at the expense of him getting hurt. He may need to rest his feet up!

      • maxymacy says:

lol! I’m looking all over the web to somehow find a full length and I can’t! lol people upload the others fully, but this game, no one seems to have it at all. but I guess I’ll settle with the highlights. I’m not sure, i read that he sprained his ankle but now it’s all good and he’s good to play tonight! as excited as I am for him, I don’t him to end up getting hurt more! it’s just a sprained ankle, but if he doesn’t take care, it may worsen, but I’m so happy still, haha

  2. Rubielyn says:

Videos overload and I am loving it! ;)
I hope the sprained ankle thing is not serious…
We want him healthy all through out.
Thanks again AnnaK for continuously making us SMILE :)
    Mwuah!!! ;)

  3. mber says:

No probs, Anna-K =] That’s his face when he goes HAM!!! Hard As a Mother-effer :P
Haters and doubting coaches shouldn’t ever confuse his humility with cowardice. JLin is diplomatic and sh*t but he is a PROUD MAN. He knows his value.
Post that humiliating 18min PT vs the Mavs, he stated that he is not disappointed in his effort. Informed on what Coach said about his coming back in the game, though his mouth is saying…it’s nice to have that…his eyes hardened. He’s mad and so what did he do the next game? He played RIGHTEOUS MAD! Yeah!

    • ksoranna says:

@mber….I Love that ham face!! And I love how baby lin says things that we are all thinking. And do u have the video link where Jeremy eyes are hardening?

      • mber says:

I know you lurrrve that Jer HAM face! Uhm, wonder what his O-Face is like? Teehee!

I sent it through today, check your email. Not the O-Face pic! LOL! Two videos, one is an old Harvard game =]

  4. ic says:

Although Jeremy made a Linsanity game his head coach actually would not change his mind and facilitate Harden only. He said if Harden scores 45 it would be hard for Jeremy to score 38, that means the ball will continue to be in Harden’s hand. Some teams have their PG and SG balance in scoring and both have a lot chances to shoot like today’s Wizards. But today’s Rockets, Harden got 20 shootings and Jeremy only got 8. Both got 50% shooting rate. If Jeremy could get as many as or a little bit less than his shooting opportunities in the game vs Spurs he would have scored much more. The reality is when Harden is on the court, Jeremy cannot (not allowed) to steal his show unless Harden got stuck. But past games showed that Jeremy didn’t play well either when Harden failed to do a good job. I guess that mental stress still bothers Jeremy that he just not yet able to free himself. In yesterday’s game he somehow showed his “rage” to prove himself when coached so disrespected him in last games. The truth now is Jeremy has to learn to fit with the agreesive Harden who is focusing on scoring more and more to establish his spot in NBA. The club actually will not care too much about how Jeremy feels when their No. 1 star is hot. Jeremy should remember what Parker’s advice to him. Tony Parker has earned what he is, that’s a great example for Jeremy who takes Parker as a model.May God help our unique boy!

    • mber says:

Pls bear with me, this is long one =] (Sorry, Anna-K I can’t guest post! I’m combative = lawsuits! I might need you as my lawyer hahaha)

IC: I agree. Jeremy would have to make more adjustments to JHarden or the plays built around him than vice-versa. Reality: Business calls for the fastest ROI. So $80M man JHarden will be max used/favoured more than any player, not just JLin.

You know why I like it here in Anna-K’s crib? We may be LINsane fan ladies but reading your opinions…I must say we’re also realists. Let’s not go that place where other fans are now –hating James Harden and placing full blame on him for “stopping” the Linsanity. JHarden is an Olympic medalist. He is a veteran of a championship contender team. Top 5 scorer so far this season. His talents can be easily quantified and qualified and the results are IN already.

Now, our boy…the undrafted, twice-cut, unwanted nth man at the farthest end of the bench…suddenly played phenomenal bball for the Knicks, became a global icon. As of this writing, most loved since Jordan and most hated since Lebron. Why. Probably b/c the media, the bball analysts, the haters want to put him in a box and label him but they could not. Jeremy Lin is just so frustratingly unpredictable!

Twitter blew up post his 38pt game vs the #1 Spurs. I noticed a trend in the tweets — they hate the rollercoaster of emotions JLin puts them through b/c they dismissed him already — scrub, fluke, etc. fart and now they have to admit he can really be a beast on court. That’s why they have gone cray cray! Why can’t just they wait a full season (of him playing healthy) to judge him?

It’s happier to be LINsane than plain old INsane yo! =] Just JOIN US, cuz you can’t/won’t beat us!

      • ic says:

You’re right mber, only when seeing through the truth of NBA nature Jeremy can set himself free. Haters are now finding an excuse to continue to hate him that he cannot play with stars on his team making him a whining boy. Jeremy, like he always did, will never respond to that accusation.

We know Melo hated D’Antoni and hated his system. But when playing for the Olympic team, they used D’Antoni’s system and Melo obediently played that system. That depended on what level of players he was playing with. He accepted everything even not starting him once or twice in the Olympic games because he knew players around him are all elite. He recognized they are players of a kind so he felt comfortable. But Jeremy is not. Jeremy stole his show and became so loved by the NY fans when he had just played that few games. It’s absolutely unacceptable by Melo or other NBA players. But asking themselves: Did Jeremy make himself that hyperbolic? No, he never did. When haters question that, they should question the crazy media but not hating Jeremy. Jeremy has been so hurt by that media hype that made him unable to normally grow, and made him entangled in that contract signing confusion, and made him lose his chance to play the Select Team. Jeremy is actually the biggest victim of Linsanity.

All these have happened in less than a year. Jeremy is still that young man recovering from his knee injury and adapting himself to the new team. He did not receive any super training during the course, so we cannot expect him to come out becoming a brand new player who can raise that hype immediately. The Knick beat writer Isola being sarcastic to say that Jeremy’s 38 pts could not compare with Lebron’s 50+ in a game. That’s insane to make such comparation. This is Jeremy’s first full season and he has only played that many games most were from the end of the bench, and Isola compared him with LeBron, the MVP, the championship super star, older and much much experienced player? He hated Jeremy because of that 85% recovery issue, and he is still hating making him so insane.

Even Parker said we should give Jeremy some more years to grow, this is a rational way of thinking that crazy people have long forgotten, especially when they talk about Jeremy Lin.

        • I’ve done some dissing of haters myself. sorry this is kind of a long post, because there are just so many kinds of Lin haters, which are:

          1. Knicks fans who want to slam the bandwagon Jeremy Lin fans who made Knicks fans lives’ hard in the boards, saying that Jeremy is all that, Knicks wouldn’t survive without him, etc. well the first time I saw my “rookie” was during Knicks vs Lakers where he made Fisher irrelevant, Pau virtually non-existent in the low post, and dropped 38 on Kobe. I should be hating him for dissing my team, right? NO, SOMETHING ELSE CLICKED. it’s admiration, which grew and grew and grew and is still growing. a lot of Knicks fans hated the bandwagons because they were gunning for Woodson’s resignation and trading of Melo so Jeremy can rule the Knicks. actual Jeremy fans didn’t do that, but of course we’re already put as part of the bunch.
          2. Rockets fans who think we’re dissing the Rockets because of Jeremy’s games – This is the new “hating” trend now. a lot of Jeremy Lin fans questioned McHale’s coaching decisions last vs Mavs game. why bench your rotating guard when he’s hustling down the floor for loose balls and setting up the offense? The arguments of Rockets fans is there should be no excuses for Jeremy. when in fact, we’re not making any excuses for him. we’re questioning the plays made by McHale. the good thing on our Jeremy side is a lot of fans from other teams as well as none team fans were backing us up. a lot of Spurs and Mavericks fans are practically grilling, “the Rockets are rebuilding. give them some time. Harden and Lin will find their game”. a lot of Spurs fans said that during that away vs Spurs game, which a bad game for Jeremy, no one is running the offense. that home game vs Spurs, with Jeremy running the point, it was a hard time for their team. it made me think that these Rockets fans don’t seem to get that it’s a relative thing – a talented team needs a wise coach to develop their talents. same, the coach has to trust and build his team as a whole, not just by “big 3″ or “big 4″.
          3. Really racist haters – I’ve meet some Lin haters because he is not black. seriously these guys are the worst. I’ve come to the point of dissing them racially myself.
          4. Jeremy vs Felton argument – now this is an interesting topic to debate about. why? because Jeremy is always on winning side here. yes, Felton may be running the Knicks offense well, but the best arguments are:
          a. this is one of my arguments – “Kidd is the ACTUAL leader of the Knicks. give credit where it’s due. his reasons for coming to Knicks are to win a championship AND mentor Jeremy Lin. I have yet to hear him say he’s having a good time mentoring Felton and Priogni.”
          b. stats comparison. these post got really hated on, but it’s real:
username: Jack – ” they suddenly think felton is derrick rose because he’s had about 5 really good games and 1 great one. he’s a brick master too and not an elite point guard at all (12th in assists and 10 point guards average more points per game and 15 point guards average more rebounds ). they laugh at lin and thank bball gods he’s not a knick but even lin with his #$%$ start has as many assists, double the rebounds, more steals, same turnover rate, and now just needs a layup and one more 3 a game to pass felton’s current ppg.” (this guy’s a Nets fan)

username: Devil – “Felton’s career numbers in 7 seasons are 13.5 points, 6.7 assists, 2.6 turnovers, and 41% shooting. Lin will only be playing his 82nd career game this week, and his numbers are 10.5 points, 6.4 assists, and 2.8 turnovers on 39% shooting. So anyway, what was your point again?”

one of may favorite arguments – “a coach with 11 championships had his eye on Jeremy’s game since his GSW rookie days. ironic because this coach runs an offense that diminishes the role of a point guard, yet he believes Jeremy Lin will fit his system. so what about that incident when Felton is seriously sulking on the bench because Coach McMillan favored Jamal Crawford to start, not him? and don’t get me started on Felton sulking over Ty Lawson getting the starting PG post.”

          c. Felton got seriously dissed just this Knicks vs Lakers game for trying to pull a “Kobe” and make lots of shot attempts. before that, Bulls fans made tons of heckling on Felton for doing the same.
          5. Pure Jeremy Lin haters who hide under the facade of hating Jeremy Lin fans but they actually just hate Jeremy themselves.

  5. hyca7316 says:

unfortunately, the next 2 games still showed Rockets coaching staff are clueless on how to use Lin’s talent wisely. Arghhhhhh…….

  6. hyca7316 says:

K: are you very busy recently? I don’t see your posts for games between last Knicks and this Spurs, and the 2 games after Spurs.

A lot of Lin fans are pretty upset/pissed about Lin’s being benched in the 4th qtr AGAIN in the Celtics game, even though he played well (though not scoring a lot) that day.

    • ksoranna says:

Yes…unfortunately I have been so busy that I sometimes miss the whole game… and it’s hard to blog on games I feel I can’t really comment on :-( I hope that things slow down after the holidays! ! And as for the coaching staff. ..I am upset that they are not using lin to his full potential!! Why would u bench ur starter?! Why rest everything on harden when Jeremy shows that he can play hard when he gets to control the ball? ! Ugh… so many unanswered questions. … so frustrating! !!!

  7. isabelijane says:

hello ladies. this is Michelle but I’m gonna comment using my WordPress account. most of us at jeremylin.net think that the Rockets coaching staff are just using Jeremy Lin as trade value asset.

    • ksoranna says:

@Michelle…I have heard so many rumors…but the truth is only the coaching staff knows their true intentions. My question is… why work so hard and spend so much money on a player just to trade him? !

      • isabelijane says:

have no idea K. have no idea. unless McHale trusts his young players, those “assumptions” will always come to our minds. if McHale lets Jeremy play the same way as he did last vs Knicks, then we can say he is now slowly trusting Jeremy to run the team and is ready to be his “mentor”. if McHale is starting to bench him again at the 4th quarter starting this vs Nets game, a lot of us from jeremylin.net would call for his head on a platter…

        • ksoranna says:

@michelle…I hate to think this way of McHale but how much do you want to bet that still doesn’t “trust” Lin fully. Even if Lin had a good game last night…I have a feeling in future games, McHale will still bench Lin, even when the team needs him most!!! I guess we will have to watch the next game to see…
